Life, Love, Liberty quote

My life has no semblance to the dreams I had from the time I was 9 years old. I can't find one aspect of LIFE that could even pass as a small interlude in my dreams and plans. Actually, the life I now live is so far removed from the reality of the life I set out in pursuit of in 1991 that it could qualify as a dream. And so, that's what I have - a Dream Life!

Just A Few Thoughts

I want to leave a few thoughts from 2 inspiring and thought-provoking messages I've heard this week.

The first message was from Pastor Roy Boyer entitled, "Trapped!"  He used some quotes from trapped Chile miner Edison Pena, and I'd like to share them with you:
1) "I ran to forget I was trapped."
2) "I ran to show I wasn't waiting around."
3) "I ran to show God I really wanted to live."

I can't give you the entire message that Pastor Roy preached, but it was stirring!  There is one thing that Pastor Roy said, however, that I want you to hear:
"When that ray of hope came in it gave evidence underneath that something was going on above!"

The second message was from Robert Henderson preaching and teaching on the apostolic reformation.  Again, he said so much I'm not about to give you the entire message.  I'll just give you a few tidbits to wet your appetite and get your mind pondering.
1) It has always been God's plan to disciple nations, creating a Kingdom culture within a nation. (Matthew 28:19)
2) The purpose of government is not to meet our needs but to empower us to meet our own needs.
3) Dennis Peacocke - "The engine of reformation is finances."
4) There is a prophetic unction in anything that is creative.
5) God could have chosen to be right, but instead He chose to be reconciled. (2 Corinthians 5:18-19)

I hope these bits will encourage you today!

Still pondering,
Amanda
