Life, Love, Liberty quote

My life has no semblance to the dreams I had from the time I was 9 years old. I can't find one aspect of LIFE that could even pass as a small interlude in my dreams and plans. Actually, the life I now live is so far removed from the reality of the life I set out in pursuit of in 1991 that it could qualify as a dream. And so, that's what I have - a Dream Life!

DAY 2 Encouragement

Have not I commanded you?  Be strong, vigorous, and very courageous.  Be not afraid, neither be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.    Joshua 1:9

Fear is so crippling.  No matter what the Lord has called you to do, you will never be able to accomplish it if you let fear reign.  Fear takes over the mind and then affects your mouth, your hands, and your feet.  Fear leaves you paralyzed without the ability to speak in faith, touch lives, or walk out the plans the Lord has for you.  Fear will come, but we don't have to let it have the last word or control our circumstances.  We must capture fear the moment it tries to exalt itself above the Lord, His ways, and His words, and we must cast it out!

To walk out the Lord's plans for your life will take faith and endurance.  You must remember that He has "commanded" you in the plans and purposes He has for your life, and He will be with you as you go.  He won't leave you alone, forsaken, or abandoned.

For He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up
nor leave you without support.  [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not
in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake
nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!]    Hebrews 13:5

He is not a man that can lie, He never sleeps, and He's always thinking of you.  He is your Saviour, your Redeemer, your Deliverer, your Healer, your Lord, your Rock, your Strong Tower!  You can overcome anything and everything with Him.

There is no need to fear that sickness that is on you because by His stripes you are already healed.  Now, walk in faith with steadfast patience UNTIL you see it manifested in your body.  Those seemingly insurmountable obstacles that have enclosed you WILL be crumbled into a measly mole hill as you stand in faith with steadfast patience and endurance.

It doesn't matter what it looks like.  It doesn't matter what they say.  It doesn't matter what you used to be.  It doesn't matter what you used to do.  It doesn't matter what you used to say.  It doesn't matter where you live, what job you have, what friends you have, what clothes you wear, or what education you have.

What matters is that you've been called by Jesus, and what He started He will finish!

For you have need of steadfast patience and endurance,
so that you may perform and fully accomplish the will of God,
and thus receive and carry away
[and enjoy to the full] what is promised.    Hebrews 10:36
