Life, Love, Liberty quote

My life has no semblance to the dreams I had from the time I was 9 years old. I can't find one aspect of LIFE that could even pass as a small interlude in my dreams and plans. Actually, the life I now live is so far removed from the reality of the life I set out in pursuit of in 1991 that it could qualify as a dream. And so, that's what I have - a Dream Life!

DAY 20 Encouragement

The coloring leaves, the hint of a chill in the air, the sound of combines, and the cold-weather clothes we now see in the stores tell us that change is coming.  Actually, it tells us change is here.  We are in a new season.

To everything there is a season...  Ecclesiastes 3:1

This new season is in the natural and the spiritual.  About 2 weeks ago, around the Jewish New Year, Kim Clement wrote this statement in an email, "Whenever a people are taken into a period of suppression and attack, it is followed by a season of overtaking and possessing."

We are entering into our season of "overtaking and possessing."  Hallelujah!  I'm ready! Are you?  Are you ready to possess your land, that land, that territory that God has for you to take?  Come on, now!  I want you to tell yourself, "I'm ready! I'm ready! I'm ready!"  If you need to, SHOUT IT, " I'M READY! I'M READY! I'M READY!

You've been waiting a long time.  Now, I want you to listen and watch for the direction of the Lord.  I want you to have your spiritual eyes peeled on Him so that you don't miss His direction, His unction, or His movement.  Now is no time to grow weary or get careless.  You need to stay the course, run your race, and possess your land!

You will, however, have to put on your battle gear.  You are going to have to go into the enemy's camp and take back what He's stolen from you and more besides.  Believe me, he's not going to give it up without a fight, but YOU WIN!  It's yours.  God's already declared it and given it to you, but it won't necessarily just fall into your lap.  The Israelites didn't just walk into the Promised Land and all of the inhabitants of that land bow down to them and give them the land.  They had to fight for it!  The Lord, however, was with them, He fought for them, and He gave them VICTORY!

A difference in this season from the last one, the one of "suppression and attack" is that we are on the offense in this one.  We have been on defense, but now, we get to call the shots.  We get to choose where the battle will be and how it will be fought (of course, at the Lord's direction).  Oh, Praise God!  He is so Faithful and True!  We can sooooooo count on Him!  He is our Rock and our Fortress!  He is the Mighty Warrior battling for us!  WE WIN!!!!
