To Him Who ever loves us and has once for all loosed and freed us from our sins by His own blood...
Revelation 1:5
This is cause for celebration! I am doing my happy dance. Haha! God ever loves us - past, present, and future. His love for us is so great, so wonderful, so intense, that He had to do something to satisfy His love. What did He do? Well, He made us alive in Christ through His grace while we were dead in our sins. How did He do that? He died so that we might live. He went to Hell and conquered the grave. He rose from the dead, and then He rose to the heavenly sphere and sat down at the right hand of the Father. And, He didn't stop there! He raised us up out of death, as the wages of sin is death, and He seated us with Himself at the right hand of the Father. In Him, we have eternal Life! Now, that's a great, wonderful, and intense love!
Not only does He love us, but He has freed us from sin! Hallelujah! Praise God! Now, that's what I'm talking about! There is no reason why we should live as slaves to sin. If we continually surrender ourselves to anything to do its will, then we are slaves to it. Yet, our bodies have been nailed to the cross. Therefore, they have been made ineffective and inactive for evil. So, we should not yield to sin or evil, but instead yield ourselves to God because we have been raised from the dead to life. Freed from sin! Sin no longer has dominion over us, no control whatsoever. The only control sin has over us is the control we give it. Whom the Son sets free is free indeed! Freed from sin!
We have reason to CELEBRATE!
