Life, Love, Liberty quote

My life has no semblance to the dreams I had from the time I was 9 years old. I can't find one aspect of LIFE that could even pass as a small interlude in my dreams and plans. Actually, the life I now live is so far removed from the reality of the life I set out in pursuit of in 1991 that it could qualify as a dream. And so, that's what I have - a Dream Life!

DAY 7 Encouragement

His master said to him, Well done, you upright (honorable, admirable)
and faithful servant! You have been faithful and trustworthy over a little;
I will put you in charge of much. Enter into
and share the joy (the delight, the blessedness) which your master enjoys.
Matthew 25:21

How many of you agree - being a faithful Christian requires a good deal of stick-to-it-tive-ness?  Can I get an, "Amen!"  Haha! We need a little humor here. =)

Seriously, though, God has His eye on you, and He sees your faithfulness.  Believe me, it doesn't go unnoticed by Him.  Your faithfulness pleases Him.  Keep on keeping on!  This is one of those sayings that I've said over and over and over and over and over for the past several years.  Even when things aren't going the way I want them to, I just keep on keeping on.  Keep listening to God.  Keep talking to God.  Keep praising God.  Keep worshiping God.  Keep living a life of love.  Keep being honest.  Keep being kind.  Keep encouraging others.  Keep reading the Bible.  Keep going to church.  Keep praying.  Keep giving.  Keep seeking His will for your life.  Keep on keeping on!

Sure, it's a lot easier to say, "Keep on keeping on," than it is to do it, but you can't even imagine what your reward will be for staying faithful.  We have such a small mind when it comes to God.  We think of Him in our human terms with our human conditions and our human nature.  A.W. Tozer says in his book, "The Knowledge of the Holy," that the most important thing a Christian can do is to think rightly about God.  He does not do things the way we do them.  He doesn't think the way we think.  He's not restricted by any character issues, time frames, or financial sources.  He does reward those who diligently seek Him, and He's always got His eye on you.

And let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right,
for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap,
if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint.    Galatians 6:9

I want you to stick to it.  Keep doing what you know is right and what you are supposed to be doing.  God cannot lie, and you will reap what you sow and more besides.  It may seem that nothing is happening, that it's never going to get better, or that you will never fulfill your destiny, BUT it is going to happen, it is going to get better, and you will fulfill your destiny as you stay faithful to Him!
