I can't explain it, but as strong as the feeling of discouragement and disappointment are right now, this constant flush of expectation of God's overwhelming, exceeding goodness manifested in miraculous deliverance and abundant blessings is MORE POWERFUL. I believe, with all of my heart, that God is so going to overwhelm His people with blessings and abundance in every area of their lives. Truly, I believe that this is about to happen very quickly for some because some are expecting Him.
When God pours out these blessings, will He find you expecting Him? Are you waiting with hopeful expectation, knowing that He is the ONLY answer, the ONLY deliverer, the ONLY source, the ONLY provider, the ONLY healer, the ONLY repairer, the ONLY Saviour?
Come on, now! Let's you and I agree together that we are going to EXPECT God to do what He says He will do and be Who He says He is. Let's approach His throne of grace with boldness, expectation that He is ready and willing to show-off. Let's trust with confident expectation that what He says, He will do and that's that! Can you wait on the Lord with me? Can you confidently put your complete and total trust in Him to be Faithful to His Word, His word, His Name, and His ways?
I know you can!
And therefore the Lord earnestly waits, expecting, looking, and longing
to be gracious to you; and therefore He lifts Himself up,
that He may have mercy on you and show loving-kindness to you.
For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed, happy, fortunate, to be envied
are all those who earnestly wait for Him,
who expect and look and long for Him for His victory, His favor, His love,
His peace, His joy, and His matchless, unbroken companionship! Isaiah 30:18
