Life, Love, Liberty quote

My life has no semblance to the dreams I had from the time I was 9 years old. I can't find one aspect of LIFE that could even pass as a small interlude in my dreams and plans. Actually, the life I now live is so far removed from the reality of the life I set out in pursuit of in 1991 that it could qualify as a dream. And so, that's what I have - a Dream Life!

DAY 17 Encouragement

Have you been in a long war with the enemy?  Has he tried to steal, kill, and destroy every hope and dream you have?  Has he wreaked havoc on your health?  Has he divided your family and strained your relationships?  Has he devoured your income so that you are always in financial need?

There was a long war between the house of Saul and the house of David.  But David grew stronger and stronger, and the house of Saul grew weaker and weaker.
2 Samuel 3:1

Good News!  As you walk and live in faith and obedience to the Lord, you are growing stronger and stronger, and the enemy is growing weaker and weaker.  Hallelujah!  Your steadfastness and persistent faith is wearying the enemy.  He is frustrated and irritated that he has not been able to destroy your faith and kill your dreams.  You have him scrambling for his next attack, his next strategic plan.  Yet, he is growing weaker and weaker.

Your faith is growing stronger and stronger, and there is less room for doubt and unbelief in you.  You are overcoming by the blood of Jesus and the word of your testimony of faith.

Any kingdom that is divided against itself is being brought to desolation and laid waste, and no city or house divided against itself will last or continue to stand.    Matthew 12:25

If you read 2 Samuel 3 concerning the war between David and Saul, you will see that this is exactly what happened.  The house of Saul began to divide amongst themselves, each one seeking his own glory, and some even coming to the point of siding with David.  I'm telling you, your perseverance in faith and obedience will cause the house of the enemy to divide and your goodness will overcome the evil.

I know you're tired of battling.  Believe me, however, you are getting stronger and stronger, and the enemy is getting weaker and weaker.  Praise God!
