Boy, does God have plans for your life! It doesn't matter where you are right now. It doesn't matter where you've been. It doesn't matter who you know, what your name is, what kind of education you have, what kind of car you drive, what kind of house you live in, or where you live. It doesn't matter if you're 5, 50, or 105. It doesn't matter if you've known Jesus virtually all your life, just recently, or don't even know Him yet. God knows the thoughts and the plans He has for you, your life, and your future. His plans for you ROCK!
I want you to understand, God has GREAT things for your life! No matter what is going on in your life, His plans and purposes for you are good, beneficial, and peaceful. Even when bad things happen, He will take them and work them out for your good, if you will let Him. You will go through tough times here on earth. Life is full of trials, tribulations, and persecutions. Yet, God will not waste one of them!
For we are God's [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live].
Ephesians 2:10
This is one of my favorite verses. Actually, this is the verse the Lord gave to me over 10 years ago when He "named" my ministry - Good Life Ministries. Seriously, God has already prepared the details of the paths He wants us to walk and the plans He has for us. Now, we need to walk and live in the Spirit, and we will be certain not to miss out on God's purposes for us. He has a good life already made ready for us to live. I didn't say, "easy life," but a good life. The kind of life that you know that you know you are exactly where you are supposed to be even if it may have it's tough times. You know, the kind of life that at the end of the day you are completely exhausted after fulfilling your earthly duties and following after the Lord, but you are fulfilled, satisfied. That life that, even though it's not always exactly what you want, you know God has ALL the details worked out.
Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the things which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].
Romans 12:2
The perfect will of God - He has a good, acceptable, and perfect will for your life. He loves you so much that He has already prepared and planned the exact perfectness for your life. He has tailored made the plans and purposes for your life according to the exactness of how He created you. He designed every aspect of your being. Surely, you can trust that His plans and purposes for you are exactly perfect! Man, does He have some AWESOMENESS planned for you! Now, go after Him and find out what it is!
