Life, Love, Liberty quote

My life has no semblance to the dreams I had from the time I was 9 years old. I can't find one aspect of LIFE that could even pass as a small interlude in my dreams and plans. Actually, the life I now live is so far removed from the reality of the life I set out in pursuit of in 1991 that it could qualify as a dream. And so, that's what I have - a Dream Life!

DAY 31 Encouragement

I'm not certain that I have told you all how much I've really enjoyed writing these "encouragements" everyday.  Thanks for being such a gracious and lifting audience.  You keep me going!

Today, is a beautiful day!  I am so blessed by today.  I can't begin to explain to you why I am so blessed; I just am.  I can't pinpoint every specific reason, but I have a burning anticipation in my spirit, a growing excitement for what the Lord is about to do.  Man, He is an Awesome God!

Praise the Lord! (Hallelujah!)  Praise the Lord, O my soul! While I live will I praise the Lord; I will sing praises to my God while I have any being.    Psalm 146:1-2

My God is worthy to be praised!  He is so good to me.  He provides a good job for my husband, a wonderful home for our family, delicious food for our table, comfortable clothes for our body, and many, many little things we really don't need but like to have.  He has given us great family, great friends, and a great church body of which to be a part.  He provides opportunities everyday to be a light in this world and to help build His kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.  My God is worthy to be praised!

Happy is he...whose hope is in the Lord his God, Who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, Who keeps truth and is faithful forever, Who executes justice for the oppressed, Who gives food to the hungry.  The Lord sets free the prisoners, the Lord opens the eyes of the blind, the Lord lifts up those who are bowed downed, the Lord loves the [uncompromisingly] righteous (those upright in heart and in right standing with Him). The Lord protects and preserves the strangers and temporary residents, He upholds the fatherless and the widow and sets them upright, but the way of the wicked He makes crooked (turns upside down and brings to ruin).  The Lord shall reign forever, even Your God, O Zion, from generation to generation. Praise the Lord! (Hallelujah!)
Psalm 146:5-10

I am certain you can find yourself in one of these places mentioned in Psalm 146, if not more than one.  God is taking care of you.  There is no One better to have to depend on than Him.  He loves you, He knows what's best for you, and He will not forsake you or leave you!  He will always be there, sticking closer than a brother.  Our God is worthy to be praised!
