Life, Love, Liberty quote

My life has no semblance to the dreams I had from the time I was 9 years old. I can't find one aspect of LIFE that could even pass as a small interlude in my dreams and plans. Actually, the life I now live is so far removed from the reality of the life I set out in pursuit of in 1991 that it could qualify as a dream. And so, that's what I have - a Dream Life!

DAY 35 Encouragement

The young lions lack food and suffer hunger, but they who seek (inquire of and require) the Lord [by right of their need and on the authority of His Word], none of them shall lack any beneficial thing.
Psalm 34:10

What a powerful scripture!  Seeking God is the MOST fulfilling thing any person could ever do.  If you seek Him, you will find Him, and the more you seek Him the more of Him you find.  I know people who were actually seeking to prove that God isn't God, but in their seeking, they found that He is!  He is!  He is all that you need.  All good things come from Him!

Jesus replied, I am the Bread of Life. He who comes to Me will never be hungry, and he who believes in and cleaves to and trusts in and relies on Me will never thirst any more (at any time).
John 6:35

There are just some holes in life that no one or nothing can fill but Jesus, but there is absolutely no hole in life that Jesus can't fill!  Solomon weighs and measures his worldly wisdom and his Godly wisdom in his writings in Ecclesiastes.  After he debates with himself over life and its meaning, he comes to an awesome conclusion in Ecclesiastes 12:13:

  1. The full and original purpose of man's creation was to fear God, revere and worship Him, and keep His commandments.
  2. The object of God's foresight and guidance was for man to fear God, revere and worship Him, and keep His commandments.
  3. The root of character is to fear God, revere and worship Him, and keep His commandments.
  4. The foundation of all happiness is to fear God, revere and worship Him, and keep His commandments.
  5. The adjustment to all difficult and disrupting circumstances and conditions in life is to fear God, revere and worship Him, and keep His commandments.
  6. The whole duty of every man is to fear God, revere and worship Him, and keep His commandments.
The only way to achieve complete and total satisfaction in life is to seek God with everything you are and everything you've got.  He must be your total pursuit, with everything else just falling into place after Him.  Nothing or no one can come before Him in your life!  We must seek after Him as if we are searching for the largest, most prosperous, and dazzling treasure ever known to man.  For truly, He is!
