Now this is the instruction, the laws, and the precepts which the Lord your God commanded me to teach you, that you might do them in the land to which you go to possess it, that you may [reverently] fear the Lord your God, you and your son and your son's son, and keep all His statutes and His commandments which I command you all the days of your life, and that your days may be prolonged. Hear therefore, O Israel, and be watchful to do them, that it may be well with you and that you may increase exceedingly, as the Lord, the God of your fathers, has promised you, in a land flowing with milk and honey.
Deuteronomy 6:1-3 AMP
I'm ready to walk into my promised land - that land that is overflowing in every aspect. I've spent about all the time I want in the land of lack and the land of just enough! Haha! How about you? Are you walking in the land of more than enough? Are you just squeaking by, just making it, barely covering it all, robbing Peter to pay Paul, never making the ends meet, or just getting by?
I'm telling you, God has a land flowing with milk and honey - everything that is awesome, fulfilling, and overflowing - for you! His plans for you and your future are good ones, plans to prosper you in every area of your life. He has made you the head and not the tail. He has blessed you in the city and in the country, and He has blessed you when you come in and when you go out. You are blessed!
Jesus tells us that He came not to do away with the Law but to fulfill it, and that it is summed up in these two commandments: You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. And the second like it is this: you shall love your neighbor as yourself. If we walk after this manner, then it will be well with us and we will increase exceedingly! as He has promised us.
When our hearts intent is set on loving God above all else, then we have set out to obey the law. This law is not the law of sin and death but the law of life and the Spirit. As we seek Him first, He will take care of everything else. If we fulfill the first commandment, then we will definitely fulfill the second commandment. You can't love God without loving people. Therefore, we can trust God to fulfill His promise to us that we will increase exceedingly!
You may have to persevere, practice patient endurance and waiting for a while, but if you stand in faith and patience, you will inherit the promises of God, and you will increase exceedingly!
