Life, Love, Liberty quote

My life has no semblance to the dreams I had from the time I was 9 years old. I can't find one aspect of LIFE that could even pass as a small interlude in my dreams and plans. Actually, the life I now live is so far removed from the reality of the life I set out in pursuit of in 1991 that it could qualify as a dream. And so, that's what I have - a Dream Life!

DAY 3 Increase

The way to increase includes rivers to cross, lands to scout, enemies to flee, hearts to circumcise, walls to fell, cities to be taken, and spoil to be had.  Once you enter into your promised land there is much to be done.  Your possession doesn't become your possession until you take it!

All of God's promises are "Yes" and "Amen!"  The key to us actually living the promises is whether or not we are willing to do what it takes to possess them.

Prepare your provisions, for within three days you shall pass over this Jordan to go in to take possession of the land which the Lord your God is giving you to possess.
Joshua 1:11 AMP

There may be a Jordan river that stands between you and your promised land.  What are you going to do to cross it?

Go, view the land.  Joshua 2:1 AMP

To take possession of your land you must be prepared for what you will meet when you get there.  You have to scout the land, size it up, take note of the details.  Are you willing to be this diligent?

Get to the mountain, lest the pursuers meet you; hide yourselves there three days until the pursuers have returned; and afterward you may go your way.
Joshua 2:16  AMP

You are likely to meet the enemy on your way to scout out your promised land.  Will you heed the voice of the Lord and do exactly as He says?

Make knives of flint and circumcise the [new generation of] Israelites...
Joshua 5:2  AMP

It's important to note that you cannot possess your promised land with an uncircumcised heart.  Your mind must be renewed, your attitude adjusted, and your heart broken for the things and the ways of the Lord.

They raised a great shout, and [Jericho's] wall fell down in its place.
Joshua 6:20  AMP

Are you ready to do some shouting?

So that the [Israelites] went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.
Joshua 6:20  AMP

When the walls come down, you must be willing to march forward, destroy the enemy, and burn his place to the ground.  You must have yourself prepared mentally, physically, and spiritually to take your promised land.

Only the silver, the gold, and the vessels of bronze and of iron they put into the treasury of the house of the Lord.  Joshua 6:24  AMP

Don't forget God's part!  Everything they took from Jericho belonged to the Lord because this was the first city they took.  Jericho was their "firstfruits offering," if you will, to the Lord.  It's treasure belonged to Him.  As you enter your promised land, don't forget the Lord!  If it weren't for Him, you wouldn't have a promised land!
