New babies bring such an awesome perspective on life. They are so perfect, so new, so fresh. They smell good, feel good, and bring such good into our lives. The blessings they bring are countless, and they remind me of how fearfully and wonderfully we are made by a Creator Who loves us and does not design junk! He masters every detail down to the number of hairs on our heads.
I just want to pick her up, squeeze her tight, kiss her all over, and tell her how much she is loved! Just like my God does to me! How wonderful it is to celebrate life. As we walked into the hospital we saw so many parents, many of them new parents, being escorted out to bring their new bundles of love and joy home for the first time. There was such an expression of love on their faces and in their eyes. They have waited 9 months to hold their precious child, and now they can.
New life has such a way of reviving us, and helping us find the good in life once again. It's no different in Jesus! He is the New Life! He is the Creator of all Life, the Giver of all Life, the Maintainer of all Life, the Restorer of all Life, and the Redeemer of all Life. In Him, we see things from a new perspective, with different eyes, with a heart of hope in goodness. Even when we've been "in Him" for years, sometimes we must re-examine ourselves, and see things from His point of view. He is our Life! And I thank Him for this Life and for the new life we experienced today!
I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance, to the full, till it overflows.
