He who is faithful in a very little [thing] is faithful also in much, and he who is dishonest and unjust in a very little [thing] is dishonest and unjust also in much.
Luke 16:10
I don't know what your "little thing" (or things) is, but God says that if you are faithful in your "little thing" then you will be given much more. Your increase comes by being faithful in what "little" you've already been given. The "little thing" can be your home, your family, your job, your finances, your ministry, your career, your education, your friends, your love, etc. Obviously, your "little thing" can be anything concerning your life.
And he said to him, Well done, excellent bond servant! Because you have been faithful and trustworthy in a very little [thing], you shall have authority over ten cities.
Luke 19:17
I don't know what your "big thing" (or things) is, but God says if you will be faithful with the "little thing" He will put the "big thing" (or things) in your charge. Your increase comes as you continue your faithfulness to what you've been given. Your "big thing" is not likely what my "big thing" is, but nonetheless, it's BIG! We aren't all called to be and do the same things, but each one of us have a very important call on our lives.
And let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint.
Galatians 6:9
Your increase is coming. Your "big thing" is already on it's way. Don't give up! Continue to be faithful in what you've been given, and at just the right time you will gain charge over much more!
