Hallelujah! I hope this post finds you increasing in faith... Increase our faith, Lord!
If we walk and live by faith, then we need to have lots of faith. I want to walk in the ways of the Lord. Therefore, I know I need lots of faith to do that. I want to live life to the fullest. Therefore, I know I must have lots of faith! We know that faith is the evidence and assurance of those things for which we hope, and it is the proof of things we do not yet see but are convinced they are real. Faith perceives that what we hope for is a real fact even though our senses don't yet see, feel, hear, smell, or taste it.
We believe, and therefore we speak! Our speaking causes those things for which we hope and perceive as being real to become reality in us and for us. So, we need to get to speaking our faith! Start talking about those things for which you are hoping. Begin to pray speak about those things for which you are convinced God has made real in your life even if you don't yet see them. Meditate on those scriptures that build up your faith. Pray in the Holy Spirit to increase your faith!
And they selected Stephen, a man full of faith and full of and controlled by the Holy Spirit.
Acts 6:5
Let's be like Stephen: full of faith and full of the Holy Spirit! They go hand in hand. As you are continually filled with the Holy Spirit, you are continually full of faith! May our faith increase from one level to the next...
