Increase DAY 18

Now the wife of a son of the prophets cried to Elisha, Your servant my husband is dead, and you know that your servant feared the Lord. But the creditor has come to take my two sons to be his slaves. Elisha said to her, What shall I do for you? Tell me, what have you [of sale value] in the house? She said, Your handmaid has nothing in the house except a jar of oil. Then he said, Go around and borrow vessels from all your neighbors, empty vessels - and not a few. And when you come in, shut the door upon you and your sons. Then pour out [the oil you have] into all those vessels, setting aside each one when it is full. So she went from him and shut the door upon herself and her sons, who brought to her the vessels as she poured the oil. When the vessels were all full, she said to her son, Bring me another vessel. And he said to her, There is not a one left. Then the oil stopped multiplying. Then she came and told the man of God. He said, Go, sell the oil and pay your debt, and you and your sons live on the rest.

2 Kings 4:1-7  AMP

• The prophet Elisha told the widow what to do, and she did it.  There was no hesitation, no procrastination, no indecision.  She and her sons left the prophet, got the vessels, and closed themselves in to see the Lord do His thing.

When you get to the place that you are truly desperate for a miracle, then you will do what He says, when He says it, without hesitation, procrastination, and indecision.  In these instances, you must close the door to doubt, fear, and unbelief.  Lock yourself in with the Lord, and do what He says!

Also, there is something to the fact that this miracle was very personal.  God did this for this widow and her sons.  He didn't do it for anyone else to see.  Sure, others, mainly the creditors, benefited from the miracle, but I doubt the widow and her sons told them how they obtained the provision.  This was a personal, provisional miracle!  God has one for you!!

• Once there was nothing else to pour into, the oil stopped flowing.

When the Lord says gather vessels and not a few, He means NOT A FEW!  Had this widow and her sons not gathered all they could get they're hands on, they would not have received such a large blessing.  When you go for it, go for it BIG!  As long as there is a receptacle for receiving, the blessing will continue to flow.

You may be that receptacle.  As long as you are receiving, hearing, and heeding the word of the Lord, the blessings will continue to flow.  You will overflow with love, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, joy, and self-control.

• This provisional miracle took care of not only their debt but provided for their lifetime of living.

I'm telling you, God is the God of more than, more than, more than enough!  You have no idea the miracles of provision that are coming your way!  Trust Him.  Lean on Him.  Obey Him.  Walk with Him.  The windows of heaven will open and pour out so many blessings that you can't contain them!  You will be overflowing!
