Life, Love, Liberty quote

My life has no semblance to the dreams I had from the time I was 9 years old. I can't find one aspect of LIFE that could even pass as a small interlude in my dreams and plans. Actually, the life I now live is so far removed from the reality of the life I set out in pursuit of in 1991 that it could qualify as a dream. And so, that's what I have - a Dream Life!

I Wish I Had Something

Truly, I wish I had something to say today, but I've been quiet pretty much all day long.  I guess this goes for the blog too.

I have so much running through my head that I can't seem to rest in one spot to gather my thoughts together.  Therefore, this is going to be short and sweet and cover what is on my mind at this moment: the refreshing that takes place in the presence of the Lord.

Tomorrow is Sunday, and we get to go to church. Hallelujah!!!!  This is one of those weeks that I really need this time with other believers giving the Lord everything we've got in our praise and our worship.  Of course, I need it every week, but I really need refreshed this week.  I know that I can count on the body at Harvest Community Church to come armed with praise and adorned with worship of our most Beautiful and Excellent Lord!  Therefore, I can expect great things tomorrow because the Holy Spirit will be free to do as He pleases!

This stirs my heart! I love the presence of God.  I love to be with other believers in the presence of God.  I love to be with other believers who love the presence of God in the presence of God.  God is so Awesome, and when a bunch of passionate believers get together in one place to magnify Him, you just never know what He's going to do.  BUT, you do know that it's going to be good!

I hope that you consider going to church tomorrow.  If you don't already have a church home, I hope that you consider a church that allows the Holy Spirit to have His way.  If your church tends to be a little resistant to the Holy Spirit, maybe tomorrow is your day to let Him use you to shine some light on the Truth!  Let's not put God in a box, and let's go to church with hearts beaming with passionate love for Him and watch Him do His thing.  You won't be disappointed!

Scriptures for reference and study: Acts 3:19; Hebrews 10:24-25; Hebrews 13:15; Psalm 103:1-5

  1. I pray for an awakening in our church because I feel the Holy Spirit is being stymied there. How much could be accomplished for the Lord if more of the people there allowed the Holy Spirit to do His job and give Him free reign and seek Him out.

  2. In Song of Solomon, it talks about awakening love. I believe when people get a real understanding of the love that God has for them, awakening can't help but happen. People will desire to love Him the way He loves them, and therefore, they will serve Him with immediate obedience and a thankful, joyful heart! And as it says in Revelation, we must return to our first love!
